Where Stories Take Shape

I've always believed stories deserve to be told.

As a reader, I find them in books.

As a maker, I find them in wood.

Many of the hardwoods I use are sourced from local sawyers

across Maine and New England.

Every board carries its own grain, character, and history.

That philosophy extends throughout the workshop. Whenever possible, offcuts and smaller pieces become bookmarks, bookends, ornaments, and other creations rather than waste.

Because good stories—and good wood—deserve another chapter.

Know Your Wood

Whenever possible, we source directly from local sawyers

here in Maine and New England.

Why It Matters

No two boards are alike.

Mass Produced boards are designed for consistency.

Our boards are designed for character.

Every grain pattern, color variation, and natural

mark is part of the story—not something to be hidden.
