About
Where the Words Meet the Woods

Some stories stay with us long after we've turned the final page.
They become conversations over coffee. Gatherings around the table. Gifts shared with friends. They find their way into the routines and traditions that make a house feel like home.
Threadtree was born from the belief that stories deserve to live beyond the page.
As both a lifelong maker and an avid reader, I found myself drawn to two very different worlds that, somehow, belonged together. One is built from imagination, characters, and unforgettable stories. The other is built from hardwood, hand tools, and the quiet satisfaction of creating something meant to last.
Threadtree is where those worlds meet.
Every piece begins with thoughtfully chosen hardwood, sourced whenever possible from local sawyers throughout Maine and New England. I don't choose wood simply because it's beautiful—I choose it because every species has its own character. Rich walnut, warm cherry, bright maple, vibrant padauk, and striking purpleheart each tell a different story before a single cut is ever made.
That philosophy carries through everything I create.
Whether it's a board inspired by a favorite reading ritual, a handcrafted gift shared around the table, or a licensed collection celebrating beloved characters, every piece is designed to become part of someone's story—not simply another object they own.
I also believe good materials deserve respect.
Offcuts from larger projects often become bookmarks, ornaments, small gifts, or future designs. It's a simple way of honoring the tree that provided the wood and making sure as little as possible goes to waste.
When you bring a Threadtree piece into your home, you're not just purchasing something handcrafted.
You're inviting a story to continue.
Whether it's shared over charcuterie with friends, gifted to a fellow reader, or quietly accompanies your morning coffee and current read, I hope it becomes part of moments worth remembering.
Thank you for visiting my workshop and allowing me to share a small part of my story with yours.
