Hardwood Bookmarks
For people who read things.
I had some beautiful hardwood left over from other projects, so naturally I made bookmarks. Then I started engraving things on them, and here we are.
They're cut from solid hardwood, engraved in my shop, finished by hand, and given a bit of colorful cord. Some have little dagger charms, because apparently I can't leave well enough alone. The sayings range from bookish to mildly inappropriate. Nothing too complicated. Just a good piece of wood holding your place while you ignore whatever else you're supposed to be doing.
A few things worth knowing:
Each bookmark is approximately 1½" wide and 6" long.
They're made from real hardwood, not plywood or veneer.
You choose the saying. I choose the wood from what's available.
Grain, color, and cord combinations vary. That's part of working with natural materials.
This first batch is limited to 25 bookmarks.
Same words. Different wood. No two quite alike.
